Stonehenge 2006

We visited Stonehenge on the 9th of December on our way to my brother and his wife's home in crossways. We set off from Bradford at 2.00am and arrived at 7.00am. The area around Stonehenge was just getting light as the Sun was on its way up, we went passed the stone circle and looked for somewhere to park so we could go and visit our national monument, unfortunately the car park was shut  to the public, but we did notice that some people were allowed in. [We don't know why]

We found an old muck road at the back of Stonehenge where we parked up and then could watch the Sun come up over Stonehenge from a distance and take some pictures. We were a bit despondent at the thought of not being allowed to go see it closer, but that's life innit.

Here are a few pictures of Stonehenge 2006.
